Hard Refresh Options

Difference Between Normal and Hard Refresh

  • Normal Refresh: The browser might use locally stored (cached) files to load the page faster. This is efficient but can sometimes result in you seeing outdated content.
  • Hard Refresh: The browser bypasses the cache completely. It downloads a fresh copy of everything, ensuring you see the absolute latest version of the page.

When to Use Hard Refresh

Enable the hard refresh option in the extension settings when you are monitoring a website where changes to core files (like JavaScript or CSS) are expected, or if you suspect the regular refresh isn't showing you the newest content. It's particularly useful for web developers testing live changes.
