How to Automatically Refresh a Page on Edge Browser
The Auto Page Refresh extension is a powerful and reliable tool that goes beyond basic reloading. It allows you to enable automatic web page refreshes at precise time intervals, create and quickly switch between multiple preset configurations, and utilize several advanced features.
These features include displaying a visual countdown timer, automatically stopping the process after a specific number of refreshes, and more.
Access the Auto-Refresh Page extension page in the: Access the Auto-Refresh Page extension page in the Edge Extension Store. Click the installation button and confirm the action to add it to your browser.
Open Settings: After installation, the extension's icon will appear on your top toolbar. Click it to open the detailed settings panel for automatic page refresh.
Define the Target Page: In the "Time Interval" tab, the extension will usually detect the URL of your active tab automatically. You can also manually input a custom URL address if the desired website tab is not currently active.
Setting Your Schedule
The extension provides flexible options for defining your refresh cadence:
Preset Block: A dedicated block features several quick-select options. You have access to six presets, all of which can be manually edited and then quickly swapped out as needed.
Quick Intervals: A second row of presets offers common, specific time intervals, such as 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
Custom Time: The extension allows you to set a precise, user-defined time period. Click the corresponding button and set the interval anywhere from just a few seconds up to a few hours.
