Stop After X Refreshes

The "Stop After X Refreshes" feature allows you to control how many times a page should automatically reload before stopping. This is useful when you only need the page to refresh a fixed number of times instead of running continuously.

How to Use

You can find this control under the Advance Options on the main extension panel, labeled as: Stop after [input field] number of auto refresh.

Step 1: Open the extension and set your desired refresh interval (e.g., every 30 seconds).
Step 2: In the designated field, enter the total number of refreshes you want the page to complete (e.g., entering "3" will stop the auto-refresh after 3 cycles).
Step 3: Start the auto-refresh. The extension will reload the page until it reaches the set number of refreshes, then stop automatically.

Example

If you set the refresh interval to 1 minute and choose "Stop After 10 Refreshes," the page will reload once every minute for 10 times, then the extension will stop refreshing.

What does Stop After X Refreshes do?

Stop After X Refreshes makes Auto Refresh Page reload a page a set number of times and then stop. Tick Stop after in Advanced Options and enter any number from 1 up; when the page reaches that count, auto refresh stops for that page. It is free and works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

How to set up Stop After X Refreshes

Open the page you want to refresh and click the Auto Refresh Page icon.
On Time Interval, choose how often to refresh, for example every 30 seconds.
Under Advanced Options, tick Stop after and enter the number of refreshes, for example 10.
Click Save. The page refreshes until it reaches 10 refreshes, then auto refresh stops.

Is there a maximum number of refreshes?

No. Enter any number from 1 up. The extension stops refreshing the page when it reaches that number.

What happens after the last refresh?

Auto refresh stops for that page. The page stays in your Refresh List, so you can start it again at any time.

Can I make it the default for every page?

Yes. In Settings, turn on Enable Stop after given number of auto refresh by Default and set your number. Stop after is then ticked with that number when you set up a page.
