Extension Management

The primary controls for any tab are the "Start" and "Stop" icons within the extension popup, which let you manage refresh timers individually for each active tab.

At the top right, a global toggle switch shows the extension’s status as Running or Paused. When set to Running, the extension is enabled and all tabs with an active refresh timer will continue working according to their settings. When switched to Paused, the extension disables auto refresh on all tabs, regardless of their individual Start/Stop settings. Switching back to Running resumes refreshing based on the saved intervals.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Timer Not Starting: Ensure the URL is correct and the extension is in Running status.
  • Keyword Not Detected: Verify the keyword spelling
  • Notifications Not Appearing: Verify that system-level notification permissions are enabled for your browser in the operating system settings, and ensure the browser has explicit notification permission granted in its site/application settings.

Windows: To enable notifications, open Settings → System → Notifications & actions, locate your browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox) under “Get notifications from these senders,” and switch it On.
macOS: To enable notifications, open System Settings → Notifications, select your browser from the application list, and enable Allow Notifications.
