Click on a Keyword Every Time It Appears — Continuous Detect Keyword Mode

v

Auto Refresh's Detect Keyword tool can click on a matched keyword the moment it appears on the page — useful for monitoring stock pages, queue systems and any workflow that depends on a specific word becoming visible. By default, however, the refresh cycle stops the first time the keyword is found and clicked.

To keep clicking on the keyword every time it is detected, continuously, with no limit, enable a single option in the Detect Keyword tab: "Continue refreshing on keyword found/not found".

Detect Keyword

 Detect keyword on page

Click on the keyword when detected

Continue refreshing on keyword found/not found

 Play sound when keyword detected

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Auto Refresh popup and switch to the Detect Keyword tab.
  2. Enable "Detect keyword on page" and enter the word you want to match.
  3. Enable "Click on the keyword when detected" so the extension actually performs the click.
  4. Enable "Continue refreshing on keyword found/not found". This is the option that turns a one-shot detection into an indefinite cycle.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Start Auto Refresh on the tab. From now on, every match triggers a click and the refresh cycle continues.

What this option actually does

  • Without "Continue refreshing on keyword found/not found" — the extension stops after the first successful detection and click. Useful when the keyword represents the end of a task ("Available", "Ready", etc.).
  • With it enabled — every refresh checks the page, every match triggers the click, and the next refresh interval starts immediately. There is no built-in cap; the cycle runs until you stop it from the popup.

If a click happens but the refresh still stops, double-check that "Stop after X number of auto refresh" in Advance Options is unchecked — that is a separate limit and it overrides the Detect Keyword cycle.
