    How to Activate Your Auto Refresh License Key

    Activate Auto Refresh on a Tab

    If you have purchased a paid plan for Auto Refresh, the license key unlocks the premium features inside the same extension popup — there is no separate installation step. The flow runs entirely inside the popup and takes three clicks plus a paste.

    Step 1 — Click Upgrade Plan

    Open the Auto Refresh popup from the browser toolbar. At the bottom-right of the popup, click the orange Upgrade Plan button.

    Step 2 — Click "Enter subscription key"

    A small "Upgrade to premium" dialog opens over the popup with two choices: Enter subscription key for an existing license, or Buy subscription to purchase one. Click Enter subscription key.

    Step 3 — Paste your key and click Save

    The dialog switches to a single text field. Paste your license key in the format XXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXX and click Save.

    Once the key is verified, the popup reflects the upgraded plan and any premium-only options become available immediately. No browser restart is required.

    If activation fails

    • Check the key format — license keys follow the XXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXX pattern. Make sure you copied the entire string with no leading or trailing spaces.
    • Confirm the key is for Auto Refresh — keys for other extensions look similar but will not activate here.
    • Try a fresh popup — close and reopen the extension popup, then run the three steps again.
